Interview with Sassy-An

by C Bret Campbell September 13, 2013 11:51 am

sassy-ann-google-graffLet’s get to know a smokin’ artist/ musician/ model from “all over the place.” Sassy An is excited to be a part of the AITP online festival… check it out!

MTM:  Let’s start at the beginning. Tell us a little about yourself. how and when did you start making music

SASSY AN•Well.. I have always been involved in music. But it’s only been for the last 8 months that I’ve decided to try and make a career out of it, and give it my 100%

MTM:  Why do you do it, now?

SASSY AN•  For the love of music and creativity.

MTM:  What were some of your early influences and what inspires you today?

SASSY AN•  Growing up being a woman of mixed origin I heard lots of different types of music that inspired and influenced me from… Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Gun’s and roses, Queen, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Sting and many more.
Having said that there are many new good artists.

MTM:  What was the last song you listened to (disc in the car or what-not)?

SASSY AN•  Aha “Take On Me”. On the car radio on my way back from the studio. 🙂

MTM:  How did you connect with Artists in the Plus and what attracted you to working with them?

SASSY AN•  After I released my first single I got contacted by Artists in the Plus. I’m kinda new to all this social media and marketing, and I must say A.I.T.P. is exactly what I needed. So it was an easy decision.

MTM:  Last year’s festival was a huge success and changed a lot of things about music on the net. Were you a part of that?

SASSY AN•  No I wasn’t. To be honest I didn’t even knew about Google+

MTM:  What would you like to see as a result of the festival, this year?

SASSY AN•  I would like to meet lots of musicians and creative people. Also I hope to gain lots of experience, as this will be the first time that I’ll be performing my own songs live.

MTM:  Have you been using services like Hangouts On Air, U-Stream, Street-Jelly, or others to perform live via video on line? What kind of reaction are you getting?

SASSY AN•  No not yet.

MTM:  Village Studios in LA will be hosting the festival, this year and there will be a studio stage in North Carolina and another in Norway. Will you be travelling or performing remote from your own studio?

SASSY AN•  I will be travelling to LA to perform in the Village Studios.

MTM:  If you could ask one performer to join you on a record, who would it be?

SASSY AN•  That is a difficult question. There are a lot, if not all. So, I can’t say one.

MTM:  What one thing would you change about this world, if you could?

SASSY AN•  Be more heart driven less money driven.

MTM:  Where can we find you and your music?

MTM:  In closing, is there anything you would like to add or anyone you would like to shout-out to?

SASSY AN•  First of all I would like to thank the Artists In The Plus team for all the great work they’ve done so far. Shout-out to R.I.N co-writer and manager, Superproloui producer, Bo Bo Kingmale producer, Limitlus studio. Stay creative. 🙂
