After a successful tour with his band, E.T.A., composer and producer Ivan Verrastro decided it was time for a solo career.

Two years of passionate work later, Ivan has delivered Sentience, an instrumental guitar album full of emotion, adventure, and captivating musical compositions.

His band, E.T.A., was active in the Birmingham/Midlands area of the UK. During their 2013 tour, Ivan performed at the Monsters of American Rock show where he supported ex-members of Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult.

Sentience is an epic adventure through fantasy-esque soundscapes and guitar melodies that takes me back to days listening to Dream Theater, Satriani, and Vai nearly non-stop.

On this album, Ivan’s composition abilities align with his guitar prowess to take listeners on a journey through emotion and spirituality.

But just how deep does Ivan talents go?

He did everything on this album: all guitar parts, bass, keyboards, drum synths, arrangement, engineering, mixing, and production. Mastering duties were performed by Chris Graham.

Sentience is a refreshing statement on instrumental guitar music. Enthusiasts and fans will appreciate this album…more than once.
