23 year old from South Wales, Jasmine Rose releases “Metamorphosis” a 7 song album, and doesn’t hold back! Honest and transparent lyrics through the ups and downs of her life.

The album opens with some serious sour face bass, and delicate whispers from Jasmine in a track titled “Rumours”, Where she confidently addresses any gossip or haters she’s had and frankly welcomes it. What a slapper to open the album, it really sets the tone for the piece as a whole and foreshadows what’s to come. 

Finding range in a smaller album of 7 songs is a difficult task but Jasmine Rose flawlessly pulls it off. With a downshift towards the middle of the album with “Hot Coffee” and “Born Again”  the slower bpm’s on these songs highlight the lyrics and emotion in her voice, and solidifies this as a full album play through as opposed to a pick through project. 

“Let Me Live” is the diamond on the pile of gold that is this album. The cockiness, the swag, the guitar in the hook, this song will have you feeling yourself and calling anyone who doesn’t a b*tch!
