Josh Christina Delivers The Rockabilly Goods On His Latest Release, Instincts Now Available

Josh Christina-Instincts

Baltimore, Maryland based rockabilly extraordinaire Josh Christina has been grabbing the attention of listeners since he tapped into his passion for song at a very young age. With a healthy love of music that came from classic acts such as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry, Christina is taking rock and roll back to its roots with a highly appealing, energizing, sophisticated blend of blues, rock, country and rockabilly-infused sonic elements.

Josh’s musical journey began at age 6. By the time he was 8, he had organized a Junior Blues Brothers outfit and was playing in venues around Baltimore on a regular basis. At 15, he began playing piano. Upon graduating high school, he began working on his first album, Man From Another Time, which included several covers and a few originals.

After catching the attention of Nashville producer Kent Wells (Dolly Parton), Christina began work on his second studio album Good Old Love. That album was released in 2015. By 2016, Josh found himself making his international television debut on Ireland’s Late Late Show.

Fast forward to present and Josh Christina has arrived with his latest album, Instincts.

With the heart and soul of Elvis, piano chops influenced by Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard, and guitar sounds reminiscent of Chuck Berry, Instincts is guaranteed to take you back while simultaneously moving you forward with an authentic, soulful, refreshing, modernized throwback to the danceable, infectious, contagious sounds of music from an era that many have forgotten but so many still love and appreciate.

Instincts will have you juking, jiving, sliding, and busting moves in no time. The slower songs will give you moments to catch your breath before launching back into full force for an unforgettable rockabilly experience; it’s truly one of a kind considering 2018’s musical landscape.

Keep this rising artist on your radar. He isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Jam to the sounds of Josh Christina and his album Instincts on Spotify.
