Justin Allen might be new to Nashville but he’s no rookie when it comes to the rock and roll life.

I’ve been in bands since I was a kid, barely 13 and writing my own songs and playing in bars. It’s all I ever really wanted to do”; he explains while taking a quick pause and allowing a snarky smirk to begin forming across his face; “I never did like working much anyhow”, he says in a jovial tone.

Justin is also no rookie to hard work. Having worked in construction, in guitar stores, in politics, in a food truck and more recently pedi-cabbing in Nashville, Allen knows what it means to keep your boots in the dirt while working your ass off to get your art into the clouds.

Justin spent six months living out of his car while traveling back and forth from Ohio to Nashville to record demos. Now living in Nashville with his band (the Well Shots) finally together and a roof over his head, Justin is putting all his energy into the music.

Ranging from high energy country rock to soothing, reflective ballads, Justin Allen and the Well Shots have created a refreshing and exciting alt-country record titled White Oak & Kerosene; which is being supported by BluZealot Entertainment.
