Kevin Thomas Band Preps To Release New Album, Listen to Lead Single ‘The Big Picture’ Now

Kevin Thomas Band-A New Heart

San Diego based musician and songwriter Kevin Thomas is preparing for the release of his new album A New Heart on March 29th, but today I want to share the lead single, The Big Picture, with you.

Never heard of Kevin before? Neither had I, until I listened to the new album. Allow me to point out a few noteworthy accomplishments under Kevin’s belt so far…

He has written and produced five albums and a growing collection of singles. This music has taken Kevin on tours across the U.S. and Europe. His previous band (Stratosphere), for which he wrote all the songs, received airplay all over North America.

If songwriting, playing in a band and actively gigging wasn’t enough on his plate, Kevin’s musical talents and productivity go beyond simply writing songs and playing with his band.

  • He is also the founder of Songwriting Planet, a music education company.
  • He is the author of Melody Madness, a critically acclaimed book.
  • He also composes for symphony orchestras.
  • He is an adjunct professor of music at Maharishi University of Management (MUM).
  • He holds a Masters Degree in Music Composition and was an Honors Graduate of Berklee College of Music as well as a graduate of Musicians Institute (MI).

Impressed yet? I thought you might be. With all of this in mind, what can we expect when clicking play on The Big Picture (and the new album when it drops)?

You can expect to be treated with upbeat, uplifting, infectious songs that hover on the style spectrum somewhere between jam band, funk and folk rock…with a healthy dose of pop appeal.

The Big Picture reminds us to weed through the lies in order to see the bigger picture, stay focused and not lose the direction in which our internal compass guides us. I can guarantee this song will leave you feeling motivated, a little more care free, and definitely in a much better mood.

The Big Picture is currently available and can be listened to on Spotify.

A New Heart, the album, will be available on March 29th (2019).

Until then, connect directly with Kevin Thomas on his official website, FB, IG or Twitter.
