Bridging The Gap with Keznamdi

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman April 30, 2013 8:00 am Tagged With: Reggae

Bridging The Gap by Keznamdi If you missed our previous interview with Keznamdi, be sure to give it a look.

We don’t receive many reggae submissions but when we do I hope they all compare to the caliber of music delivered by Keznamdi.

A man of the world, Keznamdi originates from Jamaica but has lived in different parts of Africa and can now be found on the West Coast of the U.S. circa California.

Raised in a musical family, waking up to a studio full of musicians was an every day thing. Combined with his influences from traveling the globe, Keznamdi delivers an album of music from the world…for the world.

Fans of the Marleys (Bob, Damian, Stephen) as well as Protoge or Konchens will definitely want to grab a copy of this album.

The production is top notch combining elements of reggae, dancehall, pop, r&b, and hip hop. Packed full of positive vibes this album will make you feel good like classic reggae records but Keznamdi throws his own flavor in the melting pot which causes his songwriting to appeal to a wide range of modern listeners.

“My music is a message and everyone of my song dem have a purpose. You need to just sit back and relax or stand up and jam…whatever you are moved to do,” (he chuckles). “Just tek a listen and experience it for yourself and more
important than anything else, digest my message.”

You can connect with Keznamdi on Facebook or Twitter. More importantly, visit his website and show your support.
