Krystal asked for my thoughts on the production of her debut “Thinking Out Loud” and sent over a few tracks for review. I have to say, I don’t hear production like that from indie artists, often.

With her sultry, but real voice she beguiles one to listen to her sweet song sung like honey and butter melting over hot buttermilk biscuits. read the rest

I honestly just felt like she deserved a bit more, than just a nod for great production.

Levenne’s songs are some of the sweetest pop-soul-jazz tasties I’ve heard in a long time. If you’re in for some laid-back, groovin’, slow-dance or chill out on a drive with your lady tunes, you need to get your hands on Krystal Levenne. Just….. smokinnnn’

To her credit she has co-written and produced and performed with Grammy
Winning Artist “Shaggy” on her second featured single “Come Good”. Currently
she is set to debut her first single release “Thinking Out Loud”, with various labels
seeking to sign her, she has been writing under the tutelage of Grammy Winning
Artist Wycleff Jean. Collaborating with the likes of Grammy Winning Artists
“Busta Rhymes”, Mario Winans, and Grammy nominated artist Talib Kweli to
name a few.

To her producing credit she is currently working with Grammy Winning
Artists/Producer Snoop Dog, Scott Storch, and Che Pope, of Lauren Hill’s
Grammy Winning Album “mis-education”.

Some stars twinkle, and then there are those that shine brightly and light the night’s
sky. Krystal Lavenne is clearly the latter! from http://www.krystallavennemusic.com/apps/blog

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
