Lettrice Lawrence To Release “My Man” May 15th

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman April 27, 2016 1:17 pm Tagged With: gospel, Pop, Soul

Lettrice Lawrence

Established vocalist Lettrice Lawrence is returning on May 15th with her smooth, blues-infused, soulful single “My Man“.

You might not be familiar with the name Lettrice Lawrence immediately but I can guarantee her resume will make you say “WHOA!!”

Having collaborations with Barbara Streisand, Ralph Johnson of Earth Wind & Fire, Clifton Davis, Charles Dickerson, and Anthony Parnther under her belt, Lettrice is in the Who’s Who of vocal talent.

This is only a small fraction of what her professional portfolio looks like. Lettrice doesn’t play around.

“My Man” starts off with some classic blues guitar tones as Lawrence’s engaging, smooth, and soulful voice kicks off with some sultry but subtly aggressive commentary.

Ladies…you better not try to take her man.

After a brief intro, Lettrice proceeds to lay it down over a smooth sound bed of nicely grooved bass lines, jazzy drums, super sweet background harmonies, and those guitar tones baby… those tones!!

It’s smooth as silk but sure packs a punch.

[Tweet “Nothing compares to the love of @LettriceL You better learn!! “]
