Mark Lassiter Endlessly Mends Body and Soul

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman September 24, 2013 1:58 pm Tagged With: Acoustic, adult contemporary, Pop, Rock

Endlessly EP by Mark Lassiter When I say Mark Lassiter mends body and soul… it has a literal meaning.

See, when Mark isn’t crafting amazing songs he is a dentist.

“Music is a great jumping off point for conversation with patients. It builds trust and eliminates anxiety through establishing a human connection,” the Norwood, North Carolina-based dentist/artist says. “The common thread between my practice and my music is healing.”

Endlessly is a 4 track EP of exactly that. Healing.

From love lost to love found and everything life throws at you in between, Mr. Lassiter delivers an EP which packs an epic pop-rock punch into your aurally stimulated facial.

But don’t worry, Mark will be able to fix your smile after the record stops playing.

Mark’s style sounds like the result of Train teaming up with Don Henley and Phil Collins for their next album.

As a musician, Mark has worked alongside members of the Foo Fighters, The Wallflowers, Collective Soul, and Blind Melon.

He has also been called the “dentist to the rock stars”.

Discovering his musical talents after finishing dental school, Mark used social media to share his songs with his favorite contemporary musicians. Some of them quickly became trusted collaborators as well as his patients.

“One cool story is that I got an emergency call to work on an artist right after he performed for President Obama. I’ll never forget me and my patient being escorted out of the arena by the Secret Service,” he recalls.

Mark is also a supporter of the Grammy Foundation Musicares. He organizes benefit events in North Carolina as well as donates his time as a dentist.

Connect with Mark on Facebook or Twitter, then grab your copy of the Endlessly EP.
