Melissa Black has been in the trenches on her independent grind for over a decade slowly building momentum, garnering accolades and building a base of loyal fans.

When she had a chance meeting with Scott Bird (singer/songwriter), she soon found herself in a production meeting with Riversong Music. Next was pre-production, then tracking, then a soundscape began to form. The songs inspired the team to develop film ideas around the stories Melissa shared in her music. It was only natural that Melissa joined the Riversong team as a valuable contributor to their environmental arts project.

Melissa reflects,
