“One” is set to represent Save The Children Australia’s “Mums helping Mums” Campaign launched for Mothers Day on the 12th of May.

Sweden born Singer and Songwriter Mirva, a.k.a Madelaine Vallin, has garnered a great deal of praise through the years for her sensitive style, fresh sound and great will to make a difference in the world. In 2006, she created history with her debut release “We’re Here Now” by becoming the first artist ever to release an eco-friendly album in Sweden.
Mirva’s upcoming EP “One” inspires a sense of happiness and unity. Infused with an upbeat vibe, these songs reflect the artist’s proactive approach to the world as she seeks to spread positive energies throughout the art and music scene. Recorded in her new hometown of Sydney, Australia, the EP was produced together with ARIA award-winning producer Braddon Williams (The Script, Beyonce, Delta Goodrem, Guy Sebastian). The EP is currently available as a pre-release download and is set to be released in July 2013.
Her song “One” is the first official single off the EP. Infused with rich harmonies and bold arrangements, “One” is an upbeat, uplifting pop song with a feel-good vibe about unity and the need for solidarity in the world to create a sustainable future for all. The accompanying music video, shot by Motion Pictures Militia, features a reality television cinematography style in which the artist and crew head to the streets of Sydney to create a “Release for Peace” event aimed as a wakeup call to the world’s citizens.

Recently, Save the Children Australia, an independent organisation providing emergency relief, support and protection for children, announced that the song “One” is set to represent Save The Children Australia’s “Mums Helping Mums” Campaign launched for Mothers Day on the 12th of May. To celebrate the cooperation between Save The Children Australia and the artist, Mirva has decided to donate part of the proceeds of all ITunes downloads of the song “One” during their campaign.
