Paul Canning-Jiggery Pokery
Jiggery Pokery by Paul Canning now available!

Buckle up for a Rock N Rollin’ great time with Paul Canning on his new album Jiggery Pokery!

Opening up with a sonic assault sharing the same title as the album, Paul Canning wastes no time shocking our senses into overdrive with an electrified jam that pulls listeners in and tunes them into something familiar yet refreshing, classic yet modern, and guaranteed to leave you wanting more.

And don’t worry, there is plenty more!

With 11 tracks of energetic, uplifting rock and roll, Paul Canning is a veteran musician and songwriter who knows quite a few things about crafting a masterfully arranged, melodically rich, radio friendly single that carries a hefty dose of pop appeal. Seriously, every song on Jiggery Pokery is of the highest quality, exuding the finest craftmanship. The production quality shares the same calibre.

Touching upon his history, Paul shares,

I have been singing and writing songs and in and out of bands for longer than I care to remember. Having written and released an EP called ‘The Paper Planes’ in 2007, I recorded and released my debut album ‘the outside looking in’ in 2018. In 2018, I was the lead singer of 10cc, and in 2019 I supported them on their U.K. tour ending at London’s Royal Albert Hall. For half an hour I got to play my own songs at one of the world’s most iconic venues. This tour is where I debuted songs for my new album Jiggery Pokery.

Paul Canning sharing some impressive history.

Displaying the DIY ethos our community holds so dear, Paul recorded the majority of the album at home. However, he took them to Jo Webb (a member of ELO) who co-produced the album with Paul. Drummer Nick Oliver handled mixing duties.

Paul mentioned that choosing a favorite track off Jiggery Pokery is near impossible.

I say it’s not near impossible..it is impossible.

Time for you to go click play, kick back, and just listen. Jiggery Pokery is on Spotify and Apple Music.
