Rocky Peter‘s human experience has been one of extremes.

Abandoned in a small Nigerian village at the age of two, Rocky has survived periods of starvation, fights with malaria, and the evil forces that forced him into child slavery at the age of 8.

With the horror of those years behind him, Rocky committed to educating himself while sharing his gift of music as a volunteer teaching music to others.

A multi-instrumentalist and wordsmith, Rocky’s journey has landed him on a stage at the 2016 Rio Olympics, a stage at the Nobel Peace Prize, and a slot on American Idol as a Hollywood finalist.

Understanding the importance education made in his life, Rocky donates a big chunk of his concert proceeds to schools. With a scholarship fund known as Rocky Peter’s Legends of Tomorrow Scholarship Award, students need to maintain a 4.0 GPA for a full 12 months in order to qualify.
