644277_154819618030368_181168560_nGreece’s Semina and Eve lay down some great tunes with Jonathan Blackshire, last week. They’ll be featured this weekend on the AITP Online Music Festival, too! Let’s get to know them …

Let’s start at the beginning. Tell us a little about yourself. how and when did you start making music?

Semina: Well, I started making music since I was 15 years old and had my first guitar lesson. Growing up, me and my music turned more mature and completed. For me, the reason of songwriting is that in this way I can express my fellings and my thougts. It’s magical how a song can describe how exactly you and other people feel. It’s better than words.
Eve: I start studying music when i was 17 and i realize what was missing from my life, but i had never thought to write song on my own. Then 2 years ago i had this major heart break and i wrote my first song, it felt good so i start writing more and more just to heal the wounds of my soul. Today i write about prety much everything comes in my mind.

Why do you do it, now?

Semina: I think my first anwers covers this one too…

Eve: I write songs to heal the wounds of my soul.

What were some of your early influences and what inspires you today?

Semina: Some of my early influences are paramore, foo fighters, muse. Today I can say that I could listen to everything and I’m inspired from artists that moves into many different kinds of music.

Eve: Linda perry, Janis Joplin, Pink, Adele, Anouk etc Inspired my the strong sound of their voices.

What was the last song you listened to (disc in the car or what-not)?

Semina: panic at the disco-gospel

Eve: video games -lana del Rey

How did you connect with Artists in the Plus and what attracted you to working with them?

Semina: Well, we all writing music,or just like music and we are intrested to meet new artists and new talents. it’s really exciting how you can meet musicians from all over the world and listen to their music and always learn something new.

Last year’s festival was a huge success and changed a lot of things about music on the net. Were you a part of that?

Eve: No, we weren’t but we will be this year and we are very very excited about it…!!!

What would you like to see as a result of the festival, this year?

Semina: we would like to see unknown artists get known by people and people get to know their music, because we truly believe we have to give and take a lot from each other.

Have you been using services like Hangouts On Air, U-Stream, Street-Jelly, or others to perform live via video on line? What kind of reaction are you getting?

Eve: We only use Hangouts on Air hosted by many people. We usual get nice comments about the songs and thats always good to hear.

Village Studios in LA will be hosting the festival, this year and there will be a studio stage in North Carolina and another in Norway. Will you be travelling or performing remote from your own studio?

Eve: We are from Greece so it’s not possible to be there (we are like really really far away) even thought it would be great, so we are going to perform from my home studio.

If you could ask one performer to join you on a record, who would it be?

Semina: Hayley Williams

Eve: Pink i just love her attitude of life and her amazing voice.

What one thing would you change about this world, if you could?

Semina: War

Eve: Racism it just makes me sad.

Where can we find you and your music?

Semina: itunes, amazon etc

Eve: Every detail about our music is in our records company page www.webartag.com with all the links for our pages and stuff.

In closing, is there anything you would like to add or anyone you would like to shout-out to?

Semina: Keep believing guys and keep doing what you love the most. Each of us has to say something into this world.

Eve: Just i hope everyone finds a way to express their felling and feel better. And i would like to thank my producer John Jeff Touch for helping me with my music, challenge me and being a good friend.

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness.
