Staring Into Nothing Prepare To Release Power, Jam The Single Big Brother Now

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman August 11, 2017 11:38 am Tagged With: California, progressive rock, Rock, United States

Staring Into Nothing

California based progressive rockers Staring Into Nothing have been hard at work preparing for the release of their forthcoming album Power but fortunately they have allowed us a look into the project with this potent single, Big Brother.

Buckle up and prepare for the arena sized wall of sound and the tsunami wave of powerful, thought provoking messages that are about to stimulate your senses from the creative genius of prog-rockin’ trio Staring Into Nothing.

Steve Rogers, Savannah Rogers and Kurt Barabas are the visionary musical talents that make up the core of Staring Into Nothing. Having composed over 30 songs during their time together, the trio tackles serious issues such as abuse of power, devastation of war and the closer-to-home topic of romance and relationships.

The Big Brother single tackles the first issue I mentioned, the abuse of power, the corruption it breeds and the privacy we sacrifice in our daily lives for “freedom” and safety.

Starting off with a sweet, reverberating piano melody, the song soon progresses into an all out wave of musical greatness which sounds as large as the armies protecting “Big Brother”. Staring Into Nothing create epic music.

The forthcoming Power album saw contributions from legendary producer and mixing engineer Mark Needham. Matt Chamberlain contributed drums, David Levita guitar, Pop Levi and Andre Meli on backing vocals. The group has already started formulating their next project and follow up titled Love And War.
