19-year-old touring hip-hop artist, Jacob DeRusha, set out to make a change this summer. On a mission trip to Peru, Jacob encountered poverty beyond imagination. On his 20th birthday he hosted and performed at a benefit show for the homeless to raise funds. Jacob says that this is only the beginning. Tune in to the album as Jacob takes you on a journey and repaints his summer.

Jacob DeRusha is originally from a small town outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico called Corrales but he is currently studying music industry at Loyola University in New Orleans. Jacob spends a lot of his time in the dorms writing and recording music or out at church events performing. Jacob says that one of the things he struggles with is finding the balance of hard work toward his career and casual time with friends.
