RIPL

German multi-instrumentalist RIPL returns to our ears with his second single, EMA, out now. Oozing RIPL’s soaring, impassioned vocals and delicate strummed guitar melodies, EMA is a truly infectious slice of rich folk-pop. Reflecting on those times in life when you try desperately to make yourself heard, it’s an emotion-strewn creation, with a sound akin […]

Present Paradox

‘A Cave In The Inside‘ is the fifth album of Present Paradox, Dortmund-based songwriter and producer David Kleinekottmann. It continues an distinctly adventurous catalogue from the sample-splicing debut Institutions (2013) over the very personal Acute (2015) through to the art-rock influenced expressions of his last album, Space for Wishes (2016). “To me, the new album […]

Sweden based DAHLIA deliver in your face hard rock sounds. Their new single Everywhere happens to be inspired by one of my favorite shows, Stranger Things. As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
