by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman May 16, 2016 12:14 pm Tagged With: Alternative, composer, indie, producer, Rock, singer, songwriter

Spines of the Heart-Bryan Deister

Bryan Deister is more than a musician and songwriter. He is a composer and arranger of noises. He is a weaver of frequencies. He is not afraid of experimentation and pushing his creative boundaries into uncomfortable places. Ladies and gentlemen, I haven’t felt like this since I first discovered Radiohead over a decade ago. Bryan […]

Robert Nix Once In A Blue Moon Album Cover

Robert Nix‘s newest and 5th independently written and produced album Once In A Blue Moon is not for the faint of heart. Nix’s music is heavy…not in an emotional sense but in an intellectual one. If you appreciate nuance, intricacy, and out-of-the-box musicianship, then I highly recommend Once In A Blue Moon. Robert is dedicated […]

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
