Dreamer

Sarantos is back with another delightful single and accompanying visual treatment for his song “Dreamer“. This one is probably my favorite release from Sarantos so far. Distorted guitars and a rockin’ rhythm blend to create an impactful, energetic and catchy single. I could hear this one on rock radio. Sarantos has been featured here before […]

The Fantastic Quest by Underlined Passages

I could go on and on about how Baltimore based Underlined Passages just dropped one of the greatest sounding alternative power pop-rock records I’ve heard yet in 2016. I could bore you with the intimate details of how Jamaal, Rich and Michael’s masterful musicianship and song crafting put them on the top shelf of independent […]

Kid Conch’s New Approach To Releasing Music

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman March 23, 2016 3:32 pm Tagged With: Americana, Blues, Rock

Kid Conch

Florida based blues/roots rock musician Kid Conch has an interesting approach to generating revenue by treating each song like a painting being pushed into a market of art collectors. What Kid Conch refers to as a nano-label concept, he finds investors for his intellectual property by offering them a percentage of all money generated from […]

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
