The Slow Release: Why Will Dailey’s BOYS TALKING Feels Radical in a World of Instant Everything

by Leslie Sherman February 27, 2026 7:00 am Tagged With: singer, songwriter

In an era when albums often appear and disappear within the same news cycle, Will Dailey’s seventh record, BOYS TALKING, arrives carrying something almost unfamiliar: patience. Released today on streaming platforms after an intentionally long physical-only window, the album is the culmination of a creative and philosophical experiment that places human connection over algorithmic momentum. […]

12090 A.D. Featuring Anna Copa Cabanna & Tim Kuhl Announce Self-Titled Debut Album Out April 24th

by Leslie Sherman February 25, 2026 11:46 am Tagged With: singer, songwriter

12090 A.D. conjures a world where time collapses—where the neon-lit shadows of late 70s Berlin bleed into the velvet darkness of a Lynch fever dream. Led by visionary drummer/composer Tim Kuhl and downtown icon Anna Copa Cabanna, this Brooklyn-based synth-driven dream pop duo crafts sonic landscapes that feel both ancient and futuristic, intimate and infinite. […]

Natasha Fisher Debuts Lively New Release, “The Motions”

by Leslie Sherman February 23, 2026 1:40 pm Tagged With: singer, songwriter

Toronto-based Anishinaabe singer-songwriter and producer Natasha Fisher returns with “The Motions,” an emotionally charged pop-punk track that explores a rarely examined kind of heartbreak: realizing you’ve fallen out of love in a healthy relationship. Energetic, nostalgic, and aching with longing, the song captures the internal chaos of choosing yourself when nothing is overtly “wrong,” and […]

Bilingual electro-pop duo Beau Nectar (singer-songwriters Marie-Clo and éemi) share “Tulip,” a sharp, historically rooted meditation on beauty, value, and collapse, featuring Vancouver’s acclaimed electro-pop duo Vox Rea.  Taken from their upcoming Dandy LP (out May 2026 via Indica Records), the song draws inspiration from 17th-century tulipomania. A moment when flowers were traded for fortunes […]

Siren Premiere Emotional New Video for “February’s Son”

by Leslie Sherman February 23, 2026 9:23 am Tagged With: 2026, indie rock, new music, New Single, Rock, singer, songwriter, United States

For South Florida rock veterans Siren, music has always been about storytelling – about translating real life into something listeners can hold onto. With their new single and video, “February Son,” the band reaches one of the most intimate and emotionally powerful moments of their career.

Written by frontman Rob Phillips, “February Son” honors the memory of Reese Puckett, a beloved family member who passed away at just twenty years old as a result of fentanyl. The song was born out of grief, empathy, and a desire to process loss through creativity.

“It’s one of the most difficult songs I’ve ever written,” says Phillips. “My wife’s daughter lost her son, and we went to her home to comfort the family. I wrote this as a way to deal with the pain and senseless loss—a song for his family and friends to remember him by.”

“Palomino,” the new single from acclaimed composer and guitarist Todd Mosby, offers a radiant first glimpse into the emotional landscape of his forthcoming album American Heartland. Finding Balance in Amana Melome’s New Album “Recalibration”

by Leslie Sherman February 17, 2026 5:35 am Tagged With: 2026, indie, Jazz, new album, new music, new release, singer, songwriter, Spain, United States, World

When I say there is a sense of calm confidence running through Recalibration, I don’t mean that it ever drifts into the background. Quite the opposite. What Amana Melome delivers here is music that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t feel the need to raise its voice to be heard. In an era dominated by volume, speed, and constant digital noise, this feels quietly radical.

Edmonton, AB’s St.Arnaud, the music of Ian St.Arnaud, shares “Love You (For Real),” a buoyant, indie pop track that balances romantic sincerity with a knowing smirk. Built around a warm, locked in groove and conversational lyricism, the song captures the fleeting clarity of connection; those moments when everything clicks, feels true, and doesn’t need to […]
