Terry Derosier Is Thunderin Down The Road On Newest Project

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman June 25, 2018 9:42 pm Tagged With: Country, country rock, singer, songwriter

Terry Derosier-Thunderin Down The Road

In 2014, small business owner Terry Derosier fell ten feet through unsecured scaffolding and landed on his head. Still conscious but in a pool of blood, Terry suddenly found himself on a tight rope. Life on one side. Death on the other.

As fate (or whatever you want to call it) would have it, Terry lived. Unable to continue as the CEO of his construction business after brain trauma and crushed vertebrae, Terry found himself with a lot of downtime. He also noticed that the creative regions of his brain were suddenly sparking in overdrive. This led him into writing and recording… Thunderin’ Down The Road is now available.

I don’t know if some of the wires in my head got crossed, but the creative side of my brain was really stimulated. The lyrics and songs were just flowing out now.”

Seeing this unfortunate incident as a blessing in disguise, Terry now spends the majority of his time doing what he truly loves. Creating music and movies.

With vividly potent lyrics, pure passion, some sweet sounding Country Rock frequencies, and an amazing story behind the music, Terry Derosier creates engaging, accessible music which I find perfect at full volume, windows down, riding free through the rural landscapes.

As if making good music wasn’t enough, Terry found a higher purpose with his newly found abundance of creativity. All proceeds  (from the music) go to his 501(c)(3) which helps feed starved and malnourished children around the globe. For info on that organization, visit Feed A Kid.org.

If you can imagine the sounds of Johnny Cash colliding with a little John Mellencamp after a traumatic incident, then Terry Derosier is going deliver sonic goods to your soul.

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
