The 5 Elements Of Hip Hop

Let me start by saying its a beautiful thing when im djing my monthly event called Droppin Science or any event and I have all of the 5 elements under one roof, from behind the turntables I look out in the crowd I can see the bboys & the bgirls  dancing & spinning, I look in the back there is a graffiti artist setting up some of his work on canvas,and or some pictures of a wall he tagged a couple days ago. Looking stage left at the emcees getting ready for the open mic cipher to start, all this takes place under one roof on one accord with the knowledge of hip hop.  I will give you the 5 elements

1. The DJ- comes first and foremost, is the cornerstone and the most key component of the 5 elements.
2. The Emcee- or MC meaning master of ceremonies was establish by the DJ as a hype-man/party rocker.
3. BBoys & BGirls- would come for the music and to show off there new moves and battle other crews.
4. Graffetti Artist- would provide a backdrop a murel of sorts,example if it was a outside event they would come in 2-3 days before the event get permission to tag a wall to showcase there work.
5. The knowledge- is to know and understand the hip hop culture its world wide, from sneakers to snapbacks & fitteds,headphone & backpacks,they way you talk and express yourself  hip hop is something you live daily its like religion.
