The Jardines are the team of 8 members led by a mother and a daughter. Mother (Cherelle) was a solo singer in her early days of singing. Ajaye (daughter) while was quite young accompanied her mother during many of her live performances and that was the time when she made up her mind to join the singing and be a part of this industry. Her aim is not only to be a singer but as well as modeling is also what she is planning for. The Jardines already have launched 2 albums “The Jardines” and “Someone’s Stolen Tuesday”.
In an interview with Tickets Move, The Jardines performed five songs and their all time favorite song “Someone’s Stolen Tuesday” too. The interview was exciting as well as revealed much about the Jardines and their lives. Cherelle and Ajaye were very friendly and mentioned many things. Cherelle said “I used to take Ajaye with me on stage in a basket, and she kept on clapping and waving to me.” She also mentioned “ Ajaye was a very good child”. Similarly Ajaye mentioned how much the people love their performances specially the mothers and daughters are their real fans and they take Cherelle and Ajaye as a role model.
