VOIC3S.jpg

In this interview, we chat with music collective VOIC3ES whose members are spread out across the planet. We discuss influences, their new project, and more.

Full Q&A, links, and a stream of People From The Underground below.

Let’s dive a little deeper into You, the artist and your music. What attracted you to this genre(s) or style(s)?

A few words about us:

VOIC3S is not just an electronic music band. It is considered to be more of a music family for us. Despite the fact that three of us are located in different parts of the world, we are are united by music we create together. The distance between us brings diversity to our music. Nevertheless, the we are planning to eventually erase this distance and gather together in one country, one city. We hope that one day our music will touch the depths of the people’s souls.

To be honest, we not try to do music in one genre, cause music world is like universe and there are unlimited variants of what kind of song we want to do next, we just experiment with sound, atmosphere, mood and if we like it, we put it into song, if not, we are keep searching.

What led you into this journey with music? And further, what drives you to push it out to the public?

Every musician shares his feelings through his music) So, in this case i think it’s pretty powerful song and everyone can feel their involvement in it. And of course, we would like to show this song the greatest number of people, sharing our feelings with them)

Who or what influences your creativity? Have your tastes in music changed over time?

Everything new and unusual. We have very wide range music tastes and it helps us to make our music unique. We are not afraid to mix different styles and genres if we like the result)

Were you trying to accomplish anything specific on this new project? Creatively or otherwise?

We tried to do strong song that will touch your heart. We hope we did it)

What was the last song you listened to?

Drake – Hotline Bling

Which do you prefer? Vinyl? CDs? MP3s?

Nowadays of course, mp3, because we can listen it everywhere, and it’s uncomfortable now to keep cd player in your pocket, but each of those formats is great and finds it’s own fans)

How about this one…. Do you prefer Spotify? Apple Music? Bandcamp? Or something else? Why?

Everything above, because those resources give us great opportunities about sharing your music worldwide)

The more is the better 😉

Other than the digital era overwhelming us with access to an abundance of music, what is the biggest challenge you face when trying to connect with or find new fans?

A lot of new music. DAILY. And it’s very difficult to beat it all up with only one single in our case. Song value decreased alot, but we are still trying to make not just a song, but great song, that will be with you through the years.
