Tanzanian born, Los Angeles based singer/songwriter/producer Yvonne Sangudi started my day off on a much more upbeat note than is typical for my morning routine. Her new single MistaRomeo is now available!

Fusing pop, reggaeton and world-beat, Yvonne delivers a high energy single which is guaranteed to have bodies burning up the dance floor soon after the track starts playing. For this contagious record, she worked with Jens Gad who is the older brother of Toby Gad (named Songwriter/Producer of the Year by Billboard). The Gad duo has worked on hit songs for Beyonce, John Legend, Fergie, Madonna, Leona Lewis, Enigma and many other artists whose names you might recognize.

Yvonne has been on a four year hiatus since her last release but that release landed her on the cover of international lifestyle magazine Bang! and a feature in The Huffington Post where she was named the “next great songstress”. That single was titled Tanzanite and it peaked at #35 on the iTunes Top 100 Pop Charts.

Writing, recording and performing by the time she was a pre-teen, Yvonne has dedicated her life to the art of creating music and using performance to captivate audiences. She knows the ins and outs of the entertainment industry and after working in the business behind the scenes for 19+ years, she founded Éclat Media Enterprises, Inc (in L.A.) and took full control over her career.
